Carmen Erickson. Personal message from the Owner. What a rewarding adventure this has been! Acquiring Action RV January 1, 2005! Continually I am asked, "How is business?" My response is the same. I always say, "We are blessed".
Over the years, Action RV has been able to develop a cohesive, viable, competent working "team". But, we are more than a "team". We are family. I am always so proud of the loyalty and longevity of our members. Not to say that some don't decide to "leave the nest" and move on to something else, but our family has a history of staying together for years. We have also learned that when some choose to leave, others come into the fold and bring with them youthfulness and a new sense of excitement and renewed energy...which is catching.
I wanted to own an RV service center to make a change. Being a fellow RV owner, I felt and still do feel in so many respects, that customer service and an actual caring nature for the customer is lacking in the RV industry. I travelled full-time for 6 years before Action RV came into my life and discovered that even when manufacturers try and are willing to do the right thing by their customer, follow through in the outlying RV industry does not always provide the same customer service and there is a lack of follow through.
Over the years, I have also found that not all personalities are compatible and so, thank goodness, RV'ers traveling the country have options when it comes to service. Given the investment for any RV, the RV public has the right to expect competent, quality, fair, courteous service.
I was born and raised on a farm in Montana. I guess one could say that I have been in the customer service industry since I was in high school as my first job was at a small local cafe. Throughout my career, I have been involved in providing customer service and working with people including upper management, customers, vendors, suppliers and fellow associates. I have worked in many aspects of business such as sales, management and consulting. Everything has led me to where I am today and that is Action RV. And, for those that know me or have seen our previous website, I do still have my 2003 Monaco Dynasty Duchess! Thanks to my competent "family" that keeps "her" running in tip-top shape
I asked Pete, our "Everything Service" Manager, "What is one thing that you would like to share with a future customer?" His response which I always know will be heartfelt and honest was, "We are not perfect, but we DO care and that is a trait that is hard to find. If we fall short, we will do everything in our power to make things right."
We invite you to become a part of our "family".
